มิติใหม่แห่งการบริการสังคมถือกำเนิดขึ้นอย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อ สโมสรไลออนส์สากล ภาค 310 D ได้จัดพิธีประกาศก่อตั้ง “สโมสรไลออนส์ เจริญกรุง กรุงเทพ” ณ ห้องราชาบอลรูม โรงแรมปริ๊นพาเลซ กรุงเทพมหานคร
ซึ่งสโมสรไลออนส์แห่งนี้ เป็นสโมสรฯชั้นนำแบบ Model Club หรือสโมสรตัวอย่างที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนส่งเสริมตามนโยบาย MISSION 1.5 พันธกิจเพิ่มสมาชิกให้ได้ 1,500,000 คนทั่วโลก ของท่านนายกไลออนส์สากล ท่าน Mark S. Lyon ชาวอเมริกัน ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศอันทรงเกียรติ เต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น ชื่นมื่น และพลังแห่งจิตวิญญาณนักบริการ โดยมีผู้นำไลออนส์ระดับสากล คณะกรรมการภาค นายกสโมสรฯจากทุกภาคทั่วประเทศและแขกผู้มีเกียรติร่วมเป็นสักขีพยานอย่างคับคั่งกว่า 400 ท่าน
ไฮไลต์สำคัญของงานในครั้งนี้ อยู่ที่บทบาทอันโดดเด่นของ ไลออน พงศ์ศักดิ์ เกตุสวัสดิวงศ์ ในฐานะ นายกก่อตั้งสโมสรไลออนส์ เจริญกรุง กรุงเทพ อดีตกรรมการอำนวยการไลออนส์สากล(ระดับโลก) ผู้ซึ่งเป็นกำลังหลักในการขับเคลื่อนและรวบรวม ผู้บริหารCEOผู้นำจิตอาสาระดับสากลจากภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน ทั้งหมด 32 ท่าน รวมพลังเป็นสมาชิกสมาคมสโมสรไลออนส์สากล ชุดก่อตั้ง และเป็นสโมสรตัวอย่างของประเทศไทย หรือ Model Club ที่มีผู้บริหารระดับสูง CEO ระดับสูงจากภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนที่มีจิตสาธารณะ เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์แก่ชุมชนและสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน
พิธีการเริ่มต้นอย่างสง่างาม เมื่อบรรดาผู้นำไลออนส์และแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าประจำที่ ก่อนเข้าสู่ช่วงเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการ โดย ไลออน สิทธิศาสตร์ ศิลปโพชสาลี ผู้ว่าการภาค 310 D ได้เกียรติมาเป็นประธานพิธีกล่าวเปิดงานพร้อมนำเคารพธงชาติ จากนั้น ไลออนสุเทพ ม่วงศิริ (District 310 D GET ) ประธานที่ปรึกษาผู้ว่าการภาค 310 D ได้ขึ้นกล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดงาน ซึ่งบรรยากาศเต็มไปด้วยความตื่นเต้นเมื่อ อดีตนายกไลออนส์สากล(ระดับโลก) ไลออนรอ.ขจิต หัพนานนท์ ประธานประกอบพิธี ได้กล่าวประกาศก่อตั้งและทำการเคาะระฆัง 3 ครั้ง เพื่อประกาศก่อตั้งสโมสรแห่งใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการ
จากนั้นเป็นการรับชมวิดีโอชุด "ตำนานบทใหม่เริ่มที่นี่.. We are Lion Club of Charoen Krung" ก่อนเปิดฉากขบวนเกียรติยศสุดยิ่งใหญ่ ขบวนชุดที่ 1 นำโดยคณะที่ปรึกษา, Guiding, Extension และสโมสรผู้สนับสนุน นำสารตราตั้งและธงสโมสรเข้าสู่บริเวณงาน ตามด้วยขบวนเกียรติยศชุดที่ 2 ซึ่งประกอบด้วยสมาชิกชุดก่อตั้งและนายกก่อตั้ง เดินบนพรมแดงเข้าสู่ห้องประชุมพร้อมการถ่ายภาพหมู่ประวัติศาสตร์
ลำดับพิธีการสำคัญ ได้แก่ พิธีส่งมอบสารตราตั้งและธงสโมสรขึ้นประดับบนเวที โดยประธานสภาฯภาครวม 310 และผู้ว่าการภาค 310 D ร่วมกันรับธง 2 ชุดเพื่อมอบให้แก่นายกก่อตั้ง ขณะที่อดีตนายกสากลรับสารตราตั้งมอบแก่นายกก่อตั้ง ต่อด้วยพิธีรับสมาชิกใหม่ชุดก่อตั้ง และพิธีสถาปนานายกก่อตั้งและกรรมการบริหารชุดก่อตั้ง โดยผู้ว่าการภาค 310 D ได้มอบเหรียญประจำตำแหน่งและค้อนระฆังให้แก่นายกก่อตั้งเพื่อเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งอำนาจหน้าที่และการนำพาองค์กร
ในโอกาสอันเป็นมงคลนี้ ไลออน พงศ์ศักดิ์ เกตุสวัสดิวงศ์ นายกก่อตั้งสโมสร ได้ขึ้นกล่าวแสดงความยินดี พร้อมทั้งแถลงนโยบายการทำงานและกล่าวขอบคุณทุกฝ่ายที่มีส่วนร่วมในการผลักดันให้เกิดสโมสรแห่งนี้ โดยเน้นย้ำถึงปณิธานอันแรงกล้าที่จะนำพา สโมสรไลออนส์ เจริญกรุง กรุงเทพ เดินหน้าทำกิจกรรมบำเพ็ญประโยชน์เพื่อช่วยเหลือนักเรียน ผู้ยากไร้ และพัฒนาสังคมในหลากหลายมิติ อาทิ 1.โครงการ "ฮีโร่หัวใจเพชร" ฝึกกู้ชีพ CPR และมอบเครื่อง AED 2.โครงการ Sight For Kids ตรวจวัดสายตา อบรมครู นำนักเรียนที่มีปัญหาสายตาไปรักษาฟรี
ให้กับนักเรียนในโรงเรียนสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานครที่ถนนเจริญกรุงตัดผ่าน
นอกจากนี้ ในพิธีการยังได้มีการมอบเข็มเชิดชูเกียรติให้แก่ Guiding & Extension และมอบของที่ระลึกขอบคุณประธานพิธีทั้ง 3 ท่าน ให้แก่ อดีตนายกไลออนส์สากล (ไลออนรอ.ขจิต หัพนานนท์, ประธานสภาฯภาครวม(ไลออนสมจันทร์ จินดามณีโรจน์) และผู้ว่าการภาค 310 D (ไลออน สิทธิศาสตร์ ศิลปโพชสาลี) และที่น่าประทับใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งคือ สมาชิกชุดก่อตั้งได้ร่วมกันส่งมอบทุนการศึกษาให้แก่นักเรียนกำพร้าบิดาหรือมารดา จำนวน 32 ทุน บนเวที ซึ่งถือเป็นกิจกรรมบำเพ็ญประโยชน์แรกประเดิมการก่อตั้งสโมสรอย่างสมเกียรติ
หลังเสร็จสิ้นภาคพิธีการ บรรยากาศได้เปลี่ยนเข้าสู่ภาคบันเทิงและการฉลองความสำเร็จ โดยผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ชมการแสดงจินตลีลาอันสวยงามยิ่งใหญ่จากนักเรียนเยาวชน ร่วมรับประทานอาหารเย็น และเพลิดเพลินไปกับ Mini Concert สุดสนุก รวมถึงการลุ้นรับรางวัลพิเศษ ชิงทองคำและของรางวัลรวมกว่า 10 ชิ้น สร้างความสุขและรอยยิ้มให้กับทุกคน ก่อนปิดงานและเดินทางกลับโดยสวัสดิภาพ
การถือกำเนิดของ สโมสรไลออนส์ เจริญกรุง กรุงเทพ ภาค 310 D ภายใต้การนำและแรงขับเคลื่อนสำคัญของ ไลออน พงศ์ศักดิ์ เกตุสวัสดิวงศ์ ผู้ก่อตั้ง จึงนับเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่จะช่วยแผ่ขยายพลังแห่งการให้ และสร้างมิติใหม่ในการรับใช้สังคมไทยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมต่อไป

This Lions Club is a leading Model Club, supported and promoted under the MISSION 1.5 policy, a mission to increase membership to 1,500,000 people worldwide, of Lions International President Mark S. Lyon, an American citizen. The atmosphere was honorable, warm, joyful, and filled with the spirit of service. International Lions leaders, district committee members, club presidents from all districts across the country, and distinguished guests, totaling over 400 people, witnessed the event.
A key highlight of the event was the outstanding role of PID PK Lion Pongsak Kedsawadevong, the charter president of the Charoenkrung Bangkok Lions Club and Past Lions International , who was a key figure in driving and uniting the club. Thirty-two CEOs and internationally-level volunteer leaders from both the public and private sectors have joined forces as founding members of the Lions Clubs International, establishing a model club for Thailand. This club comprises high-level CEOs from both the public and private sectors with a strong sense of public service, working together to create sustainable benefits for the community and society.
The ceremony began majestically as Lions leaders and distinguished guests took their positions before the official opening ceremony. Lion Sittisart Silapochasali, Governor of District 310 D, presided over the opening ceremony, giving a speech and leading the flag salute. Then, Lion Suthep Muangsiri (District 310 D GET), Chairman of the Governor's Advisory Board, reported on the objectives of the event. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as Past Lions Clubs International President, PIP Lion Lt. Col. Kajit Habanananda, the presiding official, declared the founding of the club and rang the bell three times to officially announce its establishment.
Following this, a video presentation titled "A New Legend Begins Here..." was shown. "We are the Lion Club of Charoen Krung!" Before the grand procession began, the first group, led by the Advisory Committee, Guiding Committee, Extension Committee, and supporting clubs, carried the charter and club flag into the venue. This was followed by the second group, consisting of founding members and the charter president, who walked the red carpet into the meeting hall for a historic group photograph.
The important ceremonies included the handover of the charter and club flags to the stage, with the MD 310 Council Chairperson and the District 310 D Governor jointly receiving the two flags to present to the founding president. The Past International President then received the charter and presented it to the charter president. This was followed by the welcoming ceremony for new charter members and the inauguration ceremony of the charter president and charter officers committee. The District 310 D Governor presented the charter president with a medal of office and a hammer as a symbol of authority and leadership over the organization.
On this auspicious occasion, PID PK Lion Pongsak Kedsawadevong, the charter president of the club, gave a congratulatory speech, announced the club's policies, and thanked all parties involved in the establishment of this club. Emphasizing their strong commitment to leading the Charoenkrung Bangkok Lions Club forward, the club continues its charitable activities to help underprivileged students and develop society in various dimensions, including: 1. The "Hero with a Diamond Heart" project, providing CPR training and donating AED machines; and 2. The Sight For Kids project, offering free eye examinations, teacher training, and treatment for students with vision problems.
These activities benefit students in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration schools located along Charoenkrung Road.
In addition, the ceremony included the presentation of honorary pins to Guiding & Extension members and the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the three presiding officers: Past Lions International President LIP Lion Lt. Col. Kajit Habanananda, MD 310 Council Chairperson (Lion Somchan Jindamaniroj), and District Governor 310 D (Lion Sittisat Silapaphochasali). Most impressively, the founding members jointly presented 32 scholarships to orphaned students on stage, marking the club's first and most honorable charitable activity.
Following the ceremonial part, the atmosphere shifted to entertainment and celebration of achievements. Attendees enjoyed a magnificent and captivating dance performance by young students, a dinner, and a fun mini-concert. They also had the chance to win special prizes, including gold and over 10 other prizes, bringing joy and smiles to everyone before the event concluded and everyone safely returned home.
The charter of the Charoenkrung Bangkok Lions Club, District 310 D, under the leadership and driving force of its founder, PID PK Lion Pongsak Kedsawadevong, marks a significant step in expanding the power of giving and creating a new dimension in tangible service to Thai society.
